Info for New MOPS Moms

Want to Be the Best Mom Possible? You Are Not Alone! We are so thrilled you will be joining us!

We understand joining a new group can be overwhelming, especially when bringing your children with
you, so we will share some information with you on what to expect from your morning in hopes of
making you feel more comfortable.

When: Cross Community MOPS meets twice a month on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 am until 11:30
am. Childcare drop-off begins at 9:15. See our on-line calendar for meeting dates at
www.crosscommunitymops.com.

Where to Park: Park at the Kings Academy Preschool parking lot, between the Worship Center (Building
B) and 2-story gated building labeled with an A. (We meet in Building B.) Follow the MOPS signs to the
gate.

Childcare Drop Off: First, take your child to Building A for drop off at with our trained caregivers. One of
our MOPS KIDS coordinators will greet you at the front gate and direct you to a room with other
children of similar ages. They will have received your child’s information through your online MOPS
registration. Children are grouped by age and your child will be pre-assigned to a dedicated room and
group of caregivers in advance. Their morning will be structured with activities, play and snack time.

Our Meeting: You will then head to the meeting in Building B, across the parking lot. Upon checking in,
you will be directed to a table and greeted by your table leader and other MOPS moms. During the
meeting, we enjoy a delicious brunch buffet, followed by a short icebreaker, a speaker and discussion
time. Some meetings include a craft where you’ll have time to further socialize with other MOPS moms.
We include a variety of speakers throughout the year and cover many topics such as relationships, meal
planning, child-rearing and organizing your home.

Dues: When you join MOPS, you can pay for the entire year (fall/spring) or for each semester individually.  The registration fee for the entire year is $150.  The registration fee for each semester individually is $80 in
the fall and $80 in the spring. This helps to cover the costs of childcare, paper products, crafts, etc.
Scholarships are available, just email or talk to your table leader. Scholarships are confidential. After the
meeting you are dismissed to go pick up your child.
